So I guess you want to know how it all works, sure we have no problems laying it all out for you to see.

The kit includes everything you need to do the conversion including the Slave Cylinder to suit the Subaru Transmission.

The Master Cylinder we use is an Exedy unit so you know it has the required quality and the Hydraulic Lines are made right here in the USA By Crown Performance and include pressure testing and certification so again you will have no issues. The Slave Cylinders come from a local supplier and are no longer factory Subaru as shown in the above picture. We are confident in their quality and if it leaks send it back and we will send you another, no questions asked.

So lets get down to fitment.....

You will need to cut a hole in your tunnel to get the kit in and we suggest considering one of out Tunnel Access Kits to keep it looking neat and being the correct size etc. Anyway with that cut and done .

Put the Hydraulic line through from the front. The banjo fitting on the transmission end will make pushing it through the tunnel easy as it slides along and doesn't get caught. With it through to the rear run it out the shift hole and up onto the top of the transmission. Once there simple bolt onto the slave cylinder ( provided) with the banjo bolt and two copper washers ( provided) one washer on each side of the fitting.

Bolted in place that takes care of the transmission end and feed line

Next take the supplied dual circuit master cylinder reservoir which has been modified for the clutch feed, If you prefer a separate container can be provided but we prefer to integrate with eth brakes and not have to deal with another container.

Image

Remove you existing container or feed lines from the master cylinder

Image

Place the new one onto the master cylinder and mark where the feed line is going to enter the tunnel, drill the hole with a 1/2' ( 12mm) drill bit. Make sure you cover up with a work cloth first

Image

Once you have drilled it clean up the edges with a file

Image

Then simple dust it all off and feed the hose into the tunnel and fit the new reservoir to the master cylinder

You are now ready to fit the new Clutch Master Cylinder

You kit will come with two 10mm bolts which are to replace the ones currently holding your pedal assembly in.

Image

Simply remove your existing bolts one at a time and insert the new bolts

Image

They will hang into the tunnel

Image

Once you have done this take your Master Cylinder assembly and screw on the hydraulic line. DO NOT do it up tight as you will need to align it one in place and then tighten it the last bit.

Image

Then simple drop it into the tunnel using the new bolts to align it. You will notice the rear bolt has a hole and the front mount a slot, this is to allow easy fitment. Once in place fit the supplied washer and nyloc nuts and do it up tight.

Image

The plunger is fitted with a bolt that will simply drop into your existing clutch hook.

To adjust you unhook it from the clutch hook and screw it up and down. Once you have it feeling right lock the adjuster nut.

You are now ready to fill up your reservoir and bleed you system.

Happy Motoring !!
